Jack’s from the 51st century, though his origins are never revealed, meaning he could be from future Earth or a colony planet. Jack himself is very confident, charming and everything else you would expect of a rogue agent and former conman. He’s also protective and he will flirt with anything, to quote the Doctor, "He’s flexible with his dancing." He's also a bit bitter about the two years of his life that are missing, which is understandable so with this he’s decided to get the Agency back at some point if he can. Given all this he does have a very good knowledge base in weapons and technology, having spent time working for the Time Agency, also the ones responsible for the missing two years, so he does have their training whatever it may have been to his advantage on the other side of this who knows what other hidden knowledge he possesses. As well as the Agency he’s also spent some time in the Air Force during WWII. Though sometimes all this knowledge can be questioned as Jack’s idea of a diversion happens to end up with him being naked, as do a lot of his stories.
